History



Culminating above the Valle di Blenio in Corsica, the castle of Serravalle is such an impressive place to visit: today in ruins, it has survived the centuries and dominates the town of U Pratu di Ghjuvellina from its 500-meter hill. The ruins consist of a circular enclosure surrounding a parallelepid dungeon tower. The enclosure is in reddish granite while the tower is constructed of well-cut limestone.
